PURPOSE:To improve the quality of talking by utilizing a transmission output control means to increase the transmission output of an opposite station and moving the operation to the switching operation of a talking channel only when the ratio of the reception level between a desired wave and an interference wave is not improved even if the transmission output of the opposite station reaches the maximum limit. CONSTITUTION:When the ratio of reception level (D/D ratio) between the desired wave and the interference wave is a prescribed value or over (that is, no channel interference takes place), since the transmission output control decreasing and increasing the transmission output of the opposite station is conducted depending on the increase/decrease in the reception level, the relation of the D/U ratio between the reception level and the opposite station transmission output in this case is specified by a slope of (2-6-8-7-2). When the D/U ratio is a prescribed value or below and it is discriminated that channel interference takes place, the transmission output of the opposite station is increased fully to the limit until the D/U ratio is improved. When the D/U ratio is not improved regardless that the transmission output of the opposite station is increased to the utmost, the talking channel is changed over.
