EXAMPLE:7-Ethoxycarbonyl-3,6,8-trimethyl-2-phenylquinoline. USE:Anticoagulant for thrombocyte. Intermediate of 7-alkoxycarbonyl-3-hydroxymethyl-6,8-dialkyl-2-phenylquinoline derivative, etc. useful as a blood stream improving agent, vasodilator, and anticoagulant for thrombocyte. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by condensing the compound of formula II with the compound of formula III, and optionally hydrolyzing or reducing the reaction product.
