Overload lever

An overload lever, with restoring function, with improved dimensioning of the overload force, for transmission of force free from play, of simple, compact and inexpensive design, is formed by mounting on a primary lever a second lever and connecting these levers torsionally non-positively by an auxiliary force F. As a result of introducing this auxiliary force at articulation points having lever-arm distances r from the pivot of this bearing shaft, it is possible, through auxiliary force F and lever-arm extension r, to dimension a holding, deflecting and restoring moment appropriate for the intended use.
