PURPOSE:To enable the use of a hand lift pallet truck by providing a load placing floor surface in the vicinity of a load delivering place, and carrying out the elevating and lowering of load as well as conveyance of load between load delivering places, in an automatic warehouse having a traveling crane for carrying in and out a load into said warehouse. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 17, together with a load 18, is conveyed by means of an unshown hand lift pallet truck 19, and placed on a load placing floor surface 10. Next, a pair of load receivers 14a, 14b are elevated through a table lifter 13 to raise the load 18 together with the pallet 17 up to a certain level. Then, a pair of load receivers 16a, 16b of a running fork 15 are moved laterally right above the load placing floor surface 10, and kept waiting under the pallet 17 and on the both sides of the pair of load receivers 14a, 14b, which support the pallet 17. And, the load receivers 14a, 14b are lowered and the load 18 is received by the running fork 15 and carried into a warehouse 1. Due to this construction, it is possible to use the hand lift pallet truck 19. |
