PURPOSE:To enable execution of a simultaneous and parallel test for gland and errors by forming a filter at an air bearing part excluding the neighborhood of a write/readout gap part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head has a write/readout gap part 27 in a magnetic head slider 22 and a filter 26 at an air bearing slider part. Where the filter 26 such as alumina (Al2O3) 0.05-0.2mum thick, altic (AlTiC), glass (SiO2), etc., at the air bearing part excepting the neighborhood of the gap part 27. |
