PURPOSE:To attain the titled machine applied to an input/output device of a personal computer by allowing each mode such as copy mode, print mode and scanner mode to be selected freely and switching freely the continuous operation and intermitting operation. CONSTITUTION:The machine consists of a controller section 100 to a scanner or a plotter, a picture processing unit 101, a driver unit 102, a plotter unit 103, other motors, sensors and a power supply 104. The picture processing unit reads an original picture and digitizes a picture signal. The plotter unit 103 is operated in the copy mode writing and printing a data for one line's share in synchronizing with the original reading by the scanner and in the print mode according to a print data signal from the host side control. Moreover, the unit 103 is operated intermittently by a command from the host side.
