PURPOSE:To make operator's completion processing unnecessary by providing a delay period between power source disconnection by the operator and power source disconnection on a system and by realizing a retract operation for a disk device during this period. CONSTITUTION:When an operator turns on a power supply of a disk system, a switch a1 is turned on and a power source circuit (c) is fed. When an a2 is energized, a delay circuit (d) drives a relay (b) after a delay period T, and the a1 and the relay (b) constitute a close loop. Next, at the time of power source disconnection of the disk system, the a1 is disconnected by the operator and the delay circuit (d) releases the relay (b) after sufficient delay period T for the retract action, when a generator circuit (e) detects a2 disconnection and generates a retract signal V only for a period of T, which applies an interruption to a microprocessor inside the disk device. The disk device realizes the retract operation by itself. |
