PURPOSE:To improve removing efficiency for fats and oils by installing an oil eliminator having twisted blades like a screw in a passage of waste smoke arranging the direction of the shaft perpendicularly to the passage of the oil smoke. CONSTITUTION:Oil smoke (a) is introduced into a hood 11 from an opening 13 and is reversed by a deflecting baffle plate 5, and then allowed to pass through an oil eliminator 4, moved around a shaft of twisted blades 2 like a screw to cause spin revolution. Oil (or fat) contained in the smoke is flung awaw and is allowed to collide against a wall of the vessel 3. The oil smoke is allowed to collide against an inclined bottom surface 12, passed between deflecting plates 20, 21, and discharged through a fire-preventing damper device 9 and a duct to the rooftop.
