Process and device for controlling the temperature in the interior of pressure vessels

A description is given of a process and a device for controlling the temperature in the interior of pressure vessels. The temperature in the interior of the pressure vessel is controlled in such a manner that it is first of all increased, then kept approximately constant and is finally reduced. In order to achieve as precise a control as possible in the case of relatively low temperature gradients, a pre-cooling phase, in which a coolant is circulated with only a very low throughput, is arranged to precede the actual cooling phase. The corresponding device exhibits separate pipeline systems for the pre-cooling phase and the cooling phase, differently dimensioned metering valves, which are controlled via a temperature-control circuit, being arranged in each system.
