PAPER FEEDER IN PICTURE IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To achieve correctly paper feed even when the paper feed cassette has not been mounted accurately on carrying device by mounting the paper feed cassette at the position where lateral gap is formed between a referential travel guide and side face limiting member. CONSTITUTION:Gap DELTAx is formed between the sideface limiting board 6 for paper contained in a paper feed cassette 5 and referential travel guide 2 where said gap DELTAx is set such that l>DELTAx>0 for the maximum effective distance l between said guide 2 and the contact face of oblique feed roller 1 and paper feed face. Consequently, the paper fed through crescent paper feed roller 3 is passed to the oblique feed roller 1 and fed in the arrow direction C while being pressure contacted against said guide 2 continuously through carrying force of oblique feed roller 1 shown by arrow B thus to feed paper correctly even if the paper feed cassette 5 and contained paper are not positioned accurately against the travel reference.
