PURPOSE:To strengthen an adhesive force of a transparent conductive film to a plastic film substrate, to prevent generation of air foams, and to improve a display quality by sticking the transparent conductive film in a heated state of the plastic film substrate. CONSTITUTION:A deforming level of a plastic film substrate 1 is determined by a coefficient of thermal expansion of the substrate 1 itself, its thickness and the film thickness of a transparent conductive film 2. For instance, a heating temperature is set so that the thickness of the substrate 1 becomes 0.1mm., the film thickness of the transparent conductive film 2 becomes several hundred Angstrom , and an expansion coefficient of the plastic film substrate 1 becomes a range of 0.1- 0.5%. Two plastic film substrates 1, 1 are opposed to the transparent conductive films 2, 2 inward, and adhered and formed by a sealing material 3. A substrate gap of this film liquid crystal display element is set by a part of the transparent conductive film 2 for constituting a display pattern by a spacer 4. In this way, even if the plastic film substrates 1, 1 are uneven, there is no problem in respect of a display quality, and the uneven variation is minute. |
