PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of stopping, detaching and attaching the large reel at the time of replacement and to improve operation efficiency by providing large reels on the forward ends of a pair of support arms which are disposed in such a manner as to be U-shaped and turned round a support shaft, and reversing the large reels to be replaced with the other empty large reel at the time of full-load. CONSTITUTION:When a yarn 39 wound round a large reel 5 is fully loaded, a solenoid clutch brake 22 is operated to stop the rotation of the large reel 5. A pivotal arm 28 is moved to a chain line position by stepping upon a pedal 33, so that the engagement of a large reel driving gear 32 with a large reel gear 7 is released to revolve the large reel 5 placed at a A-position of a large reel support arm 3a clockwise in a 120 deg. arc to take C-position, whereby the large reel 5 supported by the support arm 3a is turned from B-position to A-position. At this time, on releasing the pedal 33 and turning on the brake 22 for engaging the large reel gear 7 at the A-position with the driving gear 32, the operation for winding yarn Y round the large reel 5 is again started. Thus, the full load large reel takes the B-position and the C-position alternately, so that the next winding can be started only by reversing the large reel to improve operation efficiency. |
