PURPOSE:To perform the stable and continuous pH control of various types of slurries of high density by using an input signal which responses to the pH measured value of the filtered liquid of the slurry having the overflowed amount of pH control agent added to control the pH to a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:A pH control tank 1 is stirred by a motor-driven stirrer 2, and a feed pipe 10 for high density slurry, i.e., a supply material is opened within the tank 1 together with a water feed pipe 9 for control of slurry density. The stirrer 2 stirs the slurry in the tank 1 with a stirring fan 4 which is revolved by a decelerator 3. The mechanical stirring resistance caused when the slurry is stirred is extremely relative to a motor current A. Therefore the water feed amount of the pipe 9 is controlled. In other words, the current value given from a feed circuit 5 of the stirrer 2 is converted into the input signal of an indication controller 7 by a current converter 6. Then a feed control valve 8 of the pipe 9 is actuated. |
