PURPOSE:To control optionally the particle diameter of the liquid to be atomized by shaping a nozzle hole at the center of a nozzle plate into a minute slit in the titled atomizing pump which is fixed and joined with an electrical oscillator, the nozzle plate, and a body for supporting the oscillator and the plate. CONSTITUTION:An electric oscillator 1 is oscillated by the impression of voltage from an oscillating circuit, and a nozzle plate 3 is oscillated through a fixing layer 4a. The oscillated nozzle 3 makes an oscillating motion, and a liquid 81 filled in a liquid chamber 9 is accordingly pressurized and atomized through a slit hole 61. In this case, the diameter of the atomized liquid can be controlled in accordance with the intensity of the impressed voltage by providing one or plural radially arranged slit holes 61 each having about 5mum width and 80mum length on a nozzle plate 31.
