What is described is a combination weighing machine which contains a multiplicity of weighing units, each with a weighing-pan container, and a multiplicity of auxiliary containers for receiving material from corresponding weighing containers. Each of the auxiliary containers has a memory for storing the weight of its content. The combination satisfying a predetermined weight condition is determined on the basis of the weight values by the weighing units and the memory. The auxiliary containers are so arranged in relation to the weighing-pan containers that the content of each weighing-pan container can be unloaded into two auxiliary containers and each auxiliary container can be unloaded with material from two weighing-pan containers.
