Self-adhesive decorative strip for motor vehicles

A self-adhesively finished, essentially film-like flexible decorative strip for attachment to the outer surfaces of motor vehicles is given not only its visually aesthetic purpose but also, by equipping it with at least one essentially strip-shaped electric conductor, the technical suitability for being designed as an aerial for VHF reception in particular. It is namely envisaged to apply the electric conductor of conductive silver to a carrier film by screen printing. In the same way as the colour decorative printing, a protective insulating lacquer can also be applied by the screen printing process. To set the effective length of the conductor of about 90 cm, the decorative strip may have narrow conductor interruptions.
