The invention relates to a device for attaching covering shells to support elements of chairs, such as office swivel chairs and the like, a holding element being mounted fixedly on the inside of the covering shell, which holding element has a dovetail-shaped guide for a sliding block, which is to be inserted in said guide, together with an attachment cam which, in turn, can be brought into engagement in a corresponding bore of a support element.
