PURPOSE:To enable transfer of a filter plate to a clamp cylinder while keeping a feed blade at raised condition by contructing a transferring device capable of transferring a filter plate with an engagement to an engaging part of the filter plate to be downwardly movable by itself. CONSTITUTION:When a transferring body 6 is moved in a direction for closing a filter plate after opening the whole filter plates, the transferring body 6 is guided to below a guiding plate 7 at an end of a rail 3 and moves downward until it is stopped by the engagement of an engaging hook 17 to an engaing part 16 at the top end. Then, when the transferring body 6 is moved toward a direction for opening the filter plate by driving a movable motor in a reverse direction, the transferring body 6 is moved in a condition keeping the feed blade 9 separated from an imaginary moving area of the filter plate while keeping the engaging hook 17 engaged with the transferrig body 6. When a pin 19 contacts with a releasing lever at the end of the rail 3 on the clamp cylinder side, the engaging hook 17 is released from the engaging part 16 and the transferring body 6 is moved upward by a leaf spring 15 and is kept waiting within the imaginary moving area of the filter plate 4. Finally, the filter plate is opened and feeding of the liquid feed under pressure and filtration by compression are executed.
