PURPOSE:To attain the effective utilization of space by providing a flange on the outer circumference of nearly center in the lengthwise direction of a lens barrel. CONSTITUTION:The lens barrel section 2 is provided at the front face of a camera main body 1. The flange 8 is provided on the outer circumferential face of nearly center of the lengthwise direction in the lens barrel section 2. A main lens 10 arranged in the lens barrel section 2 forms the image of an optical picture onto a solid-state image pickup element 4. The element 4 is fixed onto a main substrate 5. The substrate 5 is fitted to the mounting flange 11 mounted freely removably to the rear end part of the lens barrel section 2.
