PURPOSE:To reduce an ending device to a compact size and to attain a seam having no knot by directly coupling a fluid supply system of a fluid treatment portion having an ending member and an untwining nozzle and an operation system of a yarn end control portion to a single driving source. CONSTITUTION:A block 4 of a driving portion 300 is provided with a passage 24 for supplying compressed fluid to an untwining nozzle and a passage 23 for supplying compressed fluid to an ending hole. The respective passages 23, 24 are connected to side wall openings 25, 26 of a cylinder 82 closely adhered to the block 4. As a circular concave groove 90 of a piston rod 74 is sequentially moved to the opening 26, the side wall 91, the opening 25 and the side wall 92, a fluid is supplied to the untwining nozzle, the supply of a fluid to the untwining nozzle is stopped, a fluid is supplied to the ending hole, and the supply of a fluid to the ending hole is stopped, thereby to control a fluid to a fluid treatment portion of an ending portion. Thus, a fluid supply system of a fluid treatment portion and an operation system of a yarn end control portion are directly coupled to a single driving source to reduce the apparatus to a compact size.
