PAPER FEEDER FOR PICTURE IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable cassette paper feed while adapting to a carrying device having oblique feed roller and referential guide by releasing the trailing edge of sheet from the sideface limiting member upon feeding of the leading edge of sheet to the position of pressing means through function of paper feed means. CONSTITUTION:A sideface limiting member 15 for limiting the sideface of paper when containing paper is provided to be released immediately before passing of paper to an oblique feed roller 7 thus to never limit the paper after passing to the oblique feed roller 7. The sideface limiting member 15 is formed such that the distance L2 from the trailing edge of paper to the front end of one sideface limiting member 15 under containment of paper will be shorter than the carrying distance L1 between paper feed operation and completion of process. Consequently, cassette paper feed is enabled while adapting to a carrying system having oblique feed roller and referential guide and the structure for positioning the paper feed cassette is simplified.
