PURPOSE:To provide a printer by which a slip can be formed extremely easily, wherein tab stop data loaded in a printer can be printed by the printer itself or can be displayed on a display device. CONSTITUTION:The tab stop data inputted from a superior device (a) through an interface controlling circuit 3 and an I/O port 4 are stored into a tab stop register R in a RAM in a memory 2. When a tab stop position command is inputted from a manual input device 8 or the superior device (a), an MPU1 reads the data stored in a tab register TR, and after various processings, the tab stop data are displayed on a display means DR or are printed by a printer. |
