<p>Lightweight metal-thermoplastic-metal laminates exhibiting an improved combination of good formability and bending strength comprise a core layer of a thermoplastic material selected from certain partly crystalline polyamides and polyesters, and a metal layer of certain aluminum alloys laminated on each side of the core layer, said thermoplastic and metal layers having certain requirements with respect to thickness and tensile elongation, and, additionally for the metal, tensile offset yield strength.</p> |
