PURPOSE:To allow a simple device to measure deterioration in the deformation effect of a thermal deforming element by rotating a disk to which numbers of thermal deforming elements are fitted and passing the respective thermal deforming elements through a heating and a cooling chamber repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of one test tank 1 is formed as the cooling chamber A to which cooling water is supplied in a shower state from each nozzle 2a of a supply pipe and the lower part is formed as the heating chamber B filled with hot water. A moving washer 12 is interposed in the shaft part 11a of a fitting tool 11 to mount a coil spring S made of Ni-Ti shape memory alloy and a bias spring 13, and the shaft part 11a is engaged threadably with a base part 11b to fit numbers of coil springs S to the entire periphery of the disck 4 at specific intervals. Then, this disk 4 is rotated by a variable speed motor 3 at a desired speed between the upper cooling chamber A and lower heating chamber B to measure deterioration in the deformation effect of every coil spring S. |
