PURPOSE:To obtain high-density resolution and prevent sudden breakage by providing a radiation detector filled with high-pressure gas, a leak valve, and a resistance measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION:The resistance measuring instrument consists of an electrode 33 and a resistance measuring instrument body 32. Normally, X rays radiated from a radiation source 1 reaches the radiation detector 2 filled with the high-pressure gas through a body 3 to be inspected and then recorded. At this time, if fine breakage occurs to part of the detector 2 as an omen, the electric resistance between electrodes 33 varies and the resistance measuring instrument body 32 performs signal processing to open the leak valve 31. Then, the high-pressure gas is released to evade abrupt breakage in the detector 2. |
