PURPOSE:To enable continuous working and reduction in a working area and to permit easy storage and transportation of raw material in the stage for forming a metallic pipe material by cold forging into a holed product by forming the raw pipe material of a coil-like long-sized material. CONSTITUTION:A raw pipe material is made of a coil-like long-sized material and is cold forged after the coil is straightened, then continuous forging is made possible with good efficiency and the yield is improved in a stage for forming a metallic pipe material by cold forging into a holed product. The area of the working shop is decreased and since the compact coiled material is used, the storage and transportation are made easy.
