PURPOSE:To reliably prevent a DC overvoltage while suitably decelerating a motor by automatically regulating the change rate of an inverter operation command to suppress the variation of the DC voltage of the inverter within an allowable range. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detector 9 for detecting a DC side voltage VDC, an A/D converter 10 for converting the detection signal of the detector 9 into a digital amount, and a controller 11 for automatically regulating the cushion time of a cushion circuit 5 from the output data of the converter 10. The controller 11 monitors the rising rate of the voltage VDC during deceleration, and automatically regulates the rate to increase the cushion time when the rate is excessively high. |
