PURPOSE:To use cooling water safely even at any position without hardly consuming it by installing a circulating pump supplying water to a cooling water path, a radiator fin cooling circulating water, a fan for forced air-cooling and a drain tank receiving drain. CONSTITUTION:One output terminal of a laser power supply 1 is connected to a cathode 3 for a laser tube 2, and the other terminal is connected to an anode 4 for the laser tube 2. Cooling water drain heated by the heat of a laser capillary 9 is pumped up by a circulating pump 14, changed into cooling circulating water 15, cooled by radiator fins 11 and a fan 12, turned into cooling water 7, forwarded to a cooling-water path vessel 10, heated by the heat of the laser capillary tube 9 and discharged to a cooling-water drain tank 13. When the laser power supply 1 is turned OFF while the circulating pump 14 is turned OFF, the laser capillary 9 is red-heated, and cooling water 7'' instantaneously boils, but cooling water 7'' is discharged to the cooling-water drain tank 13, thus preventing the damage of the cooling-water path vessel 10 and the laser tube 2. |
