摘要 PURPOSE:To make best use of the characteristics that a fuel cell possesses to economize energy by using the by-produced gaseous H2 generated in the stage of electrolysis and/or the gaseous H2, etc. generated in the outside as fuel for the fuel cell and using the generated cell for electrolysis without any conversion and control at all. CONSTITUTION:A current rectifier 1 such as SCR or the like and a fuel cell 3 are made parallel with a salt electrolysis cell 2. A DC meter 4 is an input to a computer control system 5 of which the output is connected to a control system for the rectifier 1. A disconnecting switch 6 is used for protecting the cell 3 to prevent backflow of the current. The formulas I , II are obtd. if the DC current from the rectifier 1 is designated as IR, the DC from the battery 3 as IF, the terminal voltage of the cell 3 as VF, the total voltage of the cell 2 as VC and the load current in the cell 2 as IC and the cell 3 is so combined that the formula IIholds under any condition with the formulas I , II. The load fluctuation on the cell 2 side is thus easily dealt with.
