PURPOSE:To enhance the performance of turning into fine particles as well as prevent the air-to-fuel ratio from becoming over-rich or over-lean during transient operation by furnishing a two-fluid fuel injection nozzle equipped with air for turning the fuel into fine particles. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a suction neg. pressure sensor 4 and a signal from a number-of-revolutions sensor 5 are processed by a control unit 6, which emits in turn a signal to drive a valve element 19 of a two-fluid injection nozzle. In response thereto a valve driving coil and a spring drive said valve 19 to open and close a fuel jet 15. Now the fuel is sent into the fuel passage 18 by a fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator which is to hold the fuel injection pressure constant, and injected from said fuel jet 15 into the air passage 17. The fuel is turned into fine particles by the air introduced through an air piping system 11 and flowing in said air passage 17.
