PURPOSE:To provide good controllability and make the construction simple by furnishing fuel passage which ensure fuel introduction both to two contacting points and the space between them, and thereby enabling injection of the fuel at extra-high pressure. CONSTITUTION:When valve is opened, the fuel oil passes through a valve seat 13 and is injected out of a nozzle 12 at the tip in atomized state. When the valve is closed, the tip of a spindle 20 and said valve seat 13 are contacting each other at the upper and lower edges 22, 23 of a recessed part 21. The fuel oil is however being introduced as far as into the space 14 upon passing through a passage for fuel introduction 24, and the lower edge 22 is provided so that the total contact surface pressure will not become excessive. |
