摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the missing part of a visual field by dividing at least one of an optical component constituting a photodetection optical system into plural number or providing a prism in the photodetection optical system. CONSTITUTION:An incident light 1 incident on the photodetection optical system 2 is reflected on a primary reflecting mirror 3 and a polygon mirror 13 and the image is formed on a solid-state image pickup element 5. Since a reflecting plane 14a of the lower half of the polygon mirror 13 is tilted to a reflecting plane 14b of the upper half, a momentary visual field 12a viewed by each photoelectric converting element through the reflecting plane 14b is shifted to a momentary visual field 12b viewed through the reflecting plane 14a. Thus, the adjacent longitudinal gap to the momentary visual field 12a of each photoelectric converting element is compensated by the respective momentary visual field 12b by setting an angle between the reflecting planes 14a and 14b to a prescribed angle, resulting that the missing of the visual field of the image pickup device is decreased.
