PURPOSE:To prevent an incomplete flame transmission in advance by a method wherein a flame opening is arranged only near an interface of combustion surface of the flame transmission burner and at the same time an ignitor is arranged near one of the flame openings. CONSTITUTION:At first, when a solenoid valve is depressed to open, fuel gas is supplied to a main burner 1 and a flame transmission burner 6 and at the same time the ignitor 12 is operated. Then, the first flame opening 6A of the flame transmission burner 6 is ignited, the flame is transmitted to the combustion plates 4a and 4b faced opposite to the flame and then the flame is transmitted to the second flame opening 6B faced opposite to the combustion plate 4b, the flame is transmitted to the subsequent combustion plate 4C, these sequential flame transmissions are performed and finally the flame is transmitted to the combustion plate 4d faced in opposition to the other end of the flame transmission burner 6, at least all the downstream combustion surfaces 5 and 5 show a combustion and a thermocouple 13 is heated at the combustion in the final combustion surface 5, thereby an electromotive force is generated to cause the solenoid valve 10 to be kept open. |
