PURPOSE:To produce a speed reduction gear of small size having high efficiency by employing trochoidal teeth for the fixed inner gear and outer gear performing planetary motion while making the gear face angular and placing rolling bodies between both gears. CONSTITUTION:Inner gear 11 having hypotrochoidal teeth is arranged at the fixed side while rolling members 15 are placed between the outer gear 14 having epitrochoidal teeth supported on the housing 13 through eccentric shaft 12 and inner gear 11. While a circular hole 16 is made in the outer gear 14 to rotate the output roller 17 in said hole 16 and to transmit to the output shaft 18. Each gear face 19, 20 of the inner and outer gears 11, 14 is formed angular to support the rolling members 15. Since all rolling members 15 will transmit power through rolling while the reduction ratio can be set easily, reduction gear of small size having high power transmission, high reduction ratio and high efficiency can be obtained. |
