PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which does not cause dropping of its molten resin during combustion, by adding a potassium org. phosphate, an arom. phosphite ester compd. and an organosilicon compd. to a specified arom. polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:0.001-5.0pts.wt. potassium org. phosphate of the formula (wherein X1-X8 are each H, halogen, acyl, aryl, halogen-substd. aryl, aralkyl), 0.001- 5.0pts.wt. arom. phosphite ester compd. and 0-0.5pts.wt. organosilicon compd. are added to 100pts.wt. arom. polycarbonate resin obtd. by adding a halogenated 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylalkane (BP) homo-oligomer or a co-oligomer of a halogenated BP with a non-halogenated BP to a copolymer of a halogenated BP with a non-halogenated BP or a non-halogenated BP homopolymer in which the quantity of the halogenated BP accounts for at least 10mol% of that of the non-halogenated BP. |
