PURPOSE:To make compression molding by uniform pressure loading irrespective of quantitative dispersion of a resinous material, by making each of hydraulic cylinders for opening and closing each of molds communicate by a communicating pipe with each other, in a press molding device having a plurality of sets of the molds. CONSTITUTION:Resin materials 3, 3' are mounted on cores 2, 2' of a press molding device having a plurality of sets of molds K, K', a press slide 4 is made to descend, hydraulic cylinders 6, 6' are made to operate and compression molding of a plurality of molded articles is performed at a time. When the one side resin materials 3' is too little, as the core 2' is pressed further by moving hydraulic pressure in the cylinder 6' to the other cylinder 6 due to a matter that the cylinders 6, 6' are communicated by a communicating pipe 7 with each other, compression molding of both can be performed correctly. There is no generation of an article of inferior quanlity as compression molding can be performed correctly irrespective of quantitative dispersion of the resin materials 3, 3'.
