<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of disc brake device by arranging a ball cam device between the hydraulic cylinder of hydraulic disc brake device and actuator and enabling production of brake force through the ball cam device during rotation of actuator. CONSTITUTION:When applied on a brake shaft 12 to be secured with def. side gear of def. gear device, the disc brake device is constructed such that upon feeding of pressurized oil to the hydraulic cylinder 14 to move an actuator 7 to the left, the brake disc 5 is held between a bearing body 16a integral with the axle case 16 to produce braking force. While eye-shaped cam grooves 7a, 14a to be fitted with balls 8 are made in the facing surface of the outside face of actuator 7 and the inside face of cylinder 14. Consequently, upon rotation of actuator 7 in circumferential direction through brake lever shaft 15, arm 11 and link 10 under function of parking brake, force for moving the actuator 7 to the left can be produced.</p> |
