<p>PURPOSE:To certainly and speedily close a valve at the gas taking-out port of a gas cylinder when an earthquake occurs by automatically tightening the valve by the retaining strength accumulated onto a spiral spring. CONSTITUTION:When an earthquake occurs, an upper piece 18c is pushed down by the acceleration speed in the direction of falling of a weight 20. Therefore, a lock level 18 is turned in the opposite direction to that of arrow (r), and a lower piece 18b rises to release the hook of a hooking member 16. Then, the reverse-revolution preventing device by the ratchet wheel of a reverse-revolution preventing hook 4 is released by the recovery force of the spring 16b, and the valve V of a gas cylinder B is turned in the fastening direction by the recovery force of a perfume box 2, and a gas passage is closed.</p> |
