PURPOSE:To produce a reduction gear with low cost without requiring highly accurate working of groove by employing wedge-shaped groove for rolling the rolling members. CONSTITUTION:Wedge-shaped groove 21 is formed in hypotrochoidal tooth profile fixed to a disc 20. Epitrochoidal groove 23 is formed in a disc 24 while facing with said groove 21 to couple the disc 24 rotatably through bearing 16 to the eccentric shaft 12 fixed eccentrically to the input shaft 11. Several balls 22 are placed between both grooves 21, 23 as a pin gear. Similarly, a disc 28 is fixed through a bearing 17 to the eccentric shaft 13 while adjoining to the disc 24 and circular grooves 25, 27 are made in the facing surfaces of them 24, 28 to place balls 26. While grooves 29, 31 are made in the facing surfaces of said disc 28 and adjoining disc 32 to place balls 30. The disc 32 will support the input shaft 11 through bearing 18 to transmit rotation to the output shaft 14. |
