摘要 In the prodn. of phosphoric acid, a comminuted raw material contg. minerals and at least 40% elementary phosphorus is combusted at 1500-1800 deg.C in the medium of an oxygen-contg. gas with a 10-50% excess of oxygen to give molten slag and gases contg. phosphoric anhydride, the molten slag is separated off at 1200-1400 deg.C, and the gases are hydrated to give phosphoric acid. The combustion is carried out in the presence of steam in an amt. of 1-40%, based on the mass of the raw material, with a molten slag specific surface area of 6-12 square metres per tonne raw material per hour. The slag sepd. off is cooled at a rate of 10000-10000 deg.C/second. A highly concd. phosphate material is produced suitable for use as a fertiliser or feedstuff simultaneously with the prodn. of highly pure phosphoric acid. The process minimises phosphorus losses, and eliminates the formation of pollutant by products.
