The carrier is intended for holding a number of containers with bedding plants whereby these containers have outward top flanges interconnected via preferential break lines. The carrier is also provided with an outward top flange and is dimensioned to hold an even number of plant containers. The flanges of identical carriers may be connected via preferential break lines. Each carrier pref. takes two rows of five plant containers. Carriers and containers pref. consist of the same plastic.
