PURPOSE:To provide fuel which does not emit black smoke in exhaust gas and to increase combustion efficiency and the output of engines, by dissolving liquefied petroleum gas in gas oil in a closed pressure vessel and using the gas oil as fuel for diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is dissolved in gas oil under its vapor pressure in a closed pressure vessel. The resulting gas oil contg. LPG dissolved therein is used as fuel for diesel engines. When this gas oil fuel is injected from a fuel injector into a combustion chamber, the LPG-contg. gas oil fuel is well dispersed as compared with gas oil, because it has a low viscosity. LPG has a low b.p. and is highly volatile as compared with gas oil, so that LPG is immediately gasified and diffused and the atomization of gas oil is promoted by the diffusion of LPG, whereby combustion efficiency and the output of engines can be improved. |
