PURPOSE:To bring a reception tape into the cue or the review mode by setting a transmission tape into a reproduction standby mode and the reception tape into the recording standby state with a common operation and applying quick traverse rewinding to stop the transmission tape drive mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An input from a microphone 55 is amplified (56) in generating a response message, the input is recorded on an endless tape T2, and an end signal is recorded at the end of the response message by an oscilator 61. The content of the tape T2 is monitored by an amplifier 58, a terminal OGM1, an amplifier 59 and a speaker 60. An SW62 is thrown to a terminal ICM by the end signal of the response message. When a call comes from a telephone line 64, the call is amplified (65) and recorded on a tape T1. The message on the tape T1 is read in the answer mode by a terminal P, an amplifier 66, the terminal ICM, the amplifier 59 and the speaker 60. A motor 30 cooperates with an SW50 closed in the answer mode, an SW51 opened by a tin foil of the tape T2, an SW52 closed at recording/reproduction and an SW53 closed by a phone call. Thus, the operation is simplified. |
