PURPOSE:To permit high-speed, highly accurate printing by a method in which the yoke and armature of a magnetic circuit constituting a printing head are shaped into an uneven form, and the uneven portions are coupled with each other with formation of faced portions of 4 or more. CONSTITUTION:For the shape of the yoke 13 and armature 14 constituting a magnetic circuit, recessions 15a and 15b are formed between the projections 13a, 13b and 13c of the yoke 13, and a recession 16 is formed between the projections 14a and 14b of the armature 14. In driving the armature 14, under the condition that the projection 13c of the yoke is coupled with the recession 16 of the armature and the projections 14a and 14b of the armature are coupled with the recessions 15a and 15b of the yoke, the inside face 13d of the yoke is faced the outside faces 14d and 14e of the armature and the side faces 13f and 13g of the yoke are faced the inside faces 14f and 14g of the armature to form the 4-faced sides. The flow of magnetic flux in the magnetic circuit can thus be improved to permit high-speed, highly accurate printing. |
