<p>Method for fitting a sheath or cover which protects against corrosion and/or which is decorative, generally cylindrical, onto a cable, which process comprises: fitting a sheath or cover unit at one end of a cable; displacing the position of the sheath or cover unit fitted to the other end of the cable; fitting a new sheath or cover unit in a similar manner onto the cable as a continuation of the previous sheath or cover unit; and repeating the fitting of a new sheath or cover unit and the displacement of the previous sheath or cover until the cable is covered with the sheath or cover units over practically its entire length.</p> |
