<p>A pair of cylinders (2,12) act as collectors for supplying ink to typographic plates (5a,15a). These plates are carried by smaller cylinders (5,15), so making possible implementation of the Orlof process. Images are transferred via intermediate cylinders (6,16) to a second pair (7,17) of cylinders. - Alternatively, the first pair may function as offset cylinders in contact with the second pair, or one as an offset cylinder with the other as a collector. The multicoloured print achieved on each side of the paper (1) is completed by a monochrome wet offset impression.</p> |
