摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain industrially and advantageously the titled low toxic fibers having antimicrobial, mothproof properties and resistance to washing, by incorporating trichloro hydroxyphenyl ether and an insect repellent in acrylic fibers by a specific method. CONSTITUTION:(A) An acrylic polymer is first wet spun into acrylic fibers, which are drawn and washed with water. An emulsion containing (B) 2,4,4'- trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphenyl ether and (C) an insect repellent, e.g. N,N-dimethylamide, is then applied to the resultant acrylic fibers in the gelatinous and swollen state, and the fibers are dried and densified to give the aimed fibers containing >=0.05wt%, based on the component (A), component (B), >=0.1wt%, based on the component (A), component (C) and <=5wt%, based on the component (A), total of the components (B) and (C).
