PURPOSE:To enable voltammetry of NH4<+>, SNC<->, ClO4<-> and alkali metal ion which is previously impossible or difficult to analyze by using a gel or paste incorporated with supporting electrolyte ion in a high polymer material mixed with a solvent as a working electrode. CONSTITUTION:A gel formed by dissolving, for example, PVC in nitrobenzene and adding tetrabutylammonium tetraphenylborate as a supporting electrolyte to such soln. to contain conductive ion therein is mounted to the top end of a silicone tube 2, thereby manufacturing an electrode 3. Said tube 2 is conducted to the outside by filling an N(C4H9)4.Br soln. 4 as an internal liquid into a glass tube 1 and immersing an Ag/AgCl electrode 5 in the soln. 4. The other end of the tube 1 is hermetically closed with paraffin 6, by which an electrode W for voltammetry is obtd. The analysis of quaternary ammonium ion in the aq. soln. is thus made possible. |
