<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the power loss due to an unnecessary field current supply by not supplying not only an armature current but also a field current when a motor does not necessitate to perform its function. CONSTITUTION:When a material 1 is detected by a material detector 12 in case that transferring from a conveying table roller 2 to a conveying roller table 3, the field currents of a DC motor 6 for driving an upper roller of a rolling mill and a DC motor 9 for driving a lower roller are flowed to the normal operation state. Then, when the misfeed of the material is detected by a detector 13 after the material is engaged with the mill, the armature current of the motor 6 and the field current of the motor are reduced to zero.</p> |
