PURPOSE:To prevent a power source capacitor of a gate circuit of a GTO from reversely charging by connecting a suitable resistor in parallel with the capacitor of the gate circuit. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 11 is connected in parallel with power source capacitors 4, 5 in a gate circuit of a GTO10. Even if power source capacitors 4, 5 are in any state at the power source interruption time, the stored charge is discharged through the resistor 11, thereby preventing the capacitors 4, 5 from reversely charging. |
